This past summer alone, the Hands That Rock was able to raise enough money to support nearly ten different charities that make a difference in communities all over the country and the world. We at the Hands That Rock are passionate about many things, and we are fortunate enough to be able to support wonderful organizations whose causes include music education, cancer research, and environmental preservation. Below you will find a list of the organizations we have supported recently, but to find a complete list of charities that we fundraise for, or to donate, check out our website.

Boston GreenFest is an annual festival which aims to inform the public as to the many ways green living can make a positive impact on our world, city, neighborhoods and each of us.

MusiCares provides a safety net of critical assistance for music people in times of need. MusiCares' services and resources cover a wide range of financial, medical and personal emergencies, and each case is treated with integrity and confidentiality. MusiCares also focuses the resources and attention of the music industry on human service issues that directly impact the health and welfare of the music community.

The Des Moines Music Coalition (DMMC) is a non-profit organization and collaborative movement committed to building a stronger and more diverse music community in greater Des Moines. Their mission is to aggressively advocate, sponsor, and develop an independent, progressive live music community in greater Des Moines for the purpose of urban revitalization, regional economic development, and the retention of our region’s youth and future.

The Love Hope Strength Foundation is an international, music-centric cancer charity dedicated to saving lives, one concert at a time. The mission is to save lives, right now, with the advances that have already been made in cancer care.

The mission of the Newport Festival Foundation is to maintain the famed Newport Jazz Festival® and the Newport Folk Festival® in perpetuity, to be presented at historic locations, including Fort Adams State Park and other facilities in Newport, RI.

Ozark Area Youth Organization serves children ages 5-18 through athletic opportunities in order to produce healthier, happier and well-adjusted citizens. These activities are design to nurture physical fitness, self-confidence, the ability to follow directions and a healthy competitiveness through interaction with team members and coaches.

The Forecastle Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to find, rehabilitate, and preserve 12 of the most ecologically diverse yet endangered areas on the planet.
